We have so much to be thankful for! Our health, our family, Chris' job that allows me to stay at home with the kids, our home..the list goes on.
Chris and I made it a tradition a few years back to help each other in the kitchen on Thanksgiving and prepare the entire meal TOGETHER. We look forward to this every year, and love being hands on for our Thanksgiving meal. It makes it even more special. We have a lot of fun. We laugh as we are prepping the turkey. Sticking our hands in and getting out the yucky bag of goodies, and half defrosted neck. Ick!
It is really a fun day making our feast. While the turkey is cooking we watch football and hang out with the family. Couldn't ask for anything more.
Last year, Ryan helped Chris prep the turkey. That was his first time doing it, and he wasn't so sure at first. This year, Ryan is spending Thanksgiving with his mom, so he misses out on the fun turkey prepping this year!
Our meal consisted of our big turkey (for leftovers-yum! turkey sandwiches. Yes please!), mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, rolls, and deviled eggs. (Landon's favorite part of the meal!). Finishing it off with pie!
We are thankful for so much, including all of our friends and family!
Blessings to all!
